With the holidays just around the corner, the weekends tend to fill up fast this time of year. So if you're itching for one last road trip before the roads get dicey, then this is it!

We've been blessed with an incredible run of warm(er) temperatures this fall. I can't remember the last time I could unpack the car on Thanksgiving without a jacket on, but that's exactly what I was doing last week and I loved it!

Of course we all know this won't last forever as a blanket of snow will soon cover our state, but as I noticed this past weekend, these temps have motivated several neighborhoods around Rochester to decorate their homes for Christmas.

That's why I'm excited to share a link from Only in Your State that gives you an excuse to gas up the car, pile in the family and make a road trip help north to the cities and check out this beautiful holiday lights display that goes through several Minneapolis suburbs.

From Andover, to New Hope and even through Shakopee and St. Paul there's thousands and thousands of beautifully lit homes and displays to check out after the sun goes down.

Granted these home will all look that much better once the snow does actually fall, but they're incredible none-the-less! If anything, it's something that'll surely get you into the spirit of the season.

If you can't make the drive, check out this awesome light show in Austin
