The NFL is Back, Baby!

Even though it's only pre-season, it's still football! Many of us have been waiting for this since the end of the Super Bowl. It's gonna be a good year.

The Vikings looked pretty strong in the beginning on both offense and defense. Again, it being the first game and only pre-season, I have to admit, Teddy Bridgewater looks to be a pretty good scrambling quarterback. Even though we only saw one quarter/one series of play from him, I think he was a great pick up for the Vikings. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and actually takes time to find his receivers instead of making snap decisions that may cost the team. We'll see how it plays out the rest of the season.

Didn't see anything from Adrian Peterson. My son seems to think he'll be in "beast mode" when he DOES play. I guess he hasn't played in a pre-season game since 2011. Me, I think he's going to struggle out of the gate. He's been away from the game for a while. He'll need to shake the rust off before making any big plays but I could (probably will) be wrong.

My Packers will be taking on the defending Super Bowl champion CHEATriots. I don't know why I can't stand Tom Brady. I just can't. The guy is very charitable and seems to be an all-around nice guy, but I just can't bring myself to like him. Maybe it's the fact that he's married to a super model and is worth a reported 120 million dollars. Or perhaps it's the whole deflategate scandal. You know damn well that Brady destroyed his phone because it contained incriminating evidence/text messages pertaining to deflating footballs and the fact that he won't fess up to it and instead whines like a baby about the four game suspension. Tom Brady...C'mon, Man!
