The Most Annoying Thing That Minnesota Drivers Do Might Soon Be Illegal
THE LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING!!!!! I can't tell you how many times I've screamed that in my car as I'm stuck behind someone doing 55 in a 65.
Several states have a "left lane" law - I remember being 17 and driving in Missouri when I first learned about it. I was minding my business cruising in the left lane when a Missouri State Trooper flipped around to pull me over. He let me go with a warning but explained the law in that state clearly says that the left lane is for passing and emergency vehicles only.
At this time Minnesota does not a "left lane" law but one Minnesota law maker wants to change that. Senator John Jasinski introduced a bill that would make it illegal to camp out in the left lane.
Keep your fingers crossed! Fox 9 News says The Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy will discuss it on Wednesday morning.
