The ‘Mary Tyler Moore House’ Is Finally Sold In Minneapolis
After being on the market for over five years, one of Minneapolis’ most infamous homes has finally been sold. I’ll give you a hint:
That’s right – the famous house featured in the opening sequence for the Mary Tyler Moore show has been sold for a cool $1.450 million. This might be hard to believe, but that’s actually a steal of a deal! That is, if you compare it to the original asking price of $2.895 million that was set back in 2012. That’s some good haggling.
The “Mary Tyler Moore house” – located at 2104 Kenwood Parkway in Minneapolis – was purchased by a private family who wishes to remain anonymous. That might be a tall order considering they’re living in an iconic Twin Cities home that contains seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and 9,500 square feet of living space. It seems like this family has already made it after all!
In fact, this house was so tied to Moore, that many fans left flowers in front of this house after she passed away in January. Maybe they’ll have an open-to-the-public housewarming party?
