ShaneCo just did a deep dive to "get a better understanding of engagement ring trends over the past five years." They used third-party survey data of popular ring styles and analyzed carat size.

The biggest rocks are found in Hawaii, where the average carat size peaked at 1.2 carats. Vermont was on the bottom of the list with an average carat size of under 0.7 carats among diamond ring purchases. Keep scrolling to see where Minnesota diamonds ranked.

The halo setting, which has one bigger stone surrounded by smaller diamonds, is the most popular style here in Minnesota and pretty much everywhere else in the county. Their data showed the halo was the top "engagement ring fashion for the past five years in 41 states and Washington D.C."

What are Pavé  Rings?
