That’ll Buy a LOT of Beer!

Damn, son! $675 MILLION dollars. That's what the Powerball is up to. Likely to grow to over 700 million by Saturday.   If you take the cash option, that's over 413 million and after all the taxes, etc. that comes out to about 280 million dollars...to one person.

I was talking to Frank, our Digital Managing Editor (He handles all the websites) and we got on the subject of how some lottery winners blow through their fortune within 5 years. My only question is: HOW!?!

Well, they go and buy HUGE houses with big garages and think they have to fill it up with sports cars and whatnot. I just don't get it. Certainly not ALL big lottery winners blow it all. There's some that are smart with their decisions.

We talked about what WE would do with that kind of money and figured we'd pay off our houses, credit cards, car loans, etc. and just become debt free. Maybe take a trip or two. But honestly, that would get old after a while. Then what? I don't know that I'd want to quit working. Life would be pretty boring. Who knows.

I remember seeing a show called, "The Lottery Changed My Life". Definitely worth a watch and if you're going to play the lottery, good luck to you.
