It started with a shooting in Minneapolis and ended shortly after the murder of a man during an attempted carjacking near Willmar.

Officials during a news conference also said the suspected gunman is dead and that 17 people were injured.

Emergency Medical Services request a Mass Casualty Response.

Police say it’s not known if the shootings on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning are related to the mass shooting Tuesday afternoon.

The police chief says 3 of the wounded suffered critical and life-threatening injuries.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of gunfire around 11:00 Friday night.

The alleged gunman is a Rochester resident.

As of Monday morning, no arrests have been announced.

Police say they are not looking for any suspects.

The criminal complaint says the victim has bullet fragments in her eye and brain.
