The Rochester Police Department announced the closure shortly after 8:30 Saturday morning.

Officials closed the highway shortly before 3 p.m. and reopened the road around 5:45 p.m.

One vehicle was involved in the deadly crash, according to the State Patrol.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation anticipates the closure to end around 11:00 Wednesday night.

Nathan Westergaard died in early August after being hit by a vehicle.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

A Chevy car, Ford car and a small pick-up collided at the intersection of Hwy. 14, Hwy. 61 and Pelzer St.

The drivers were the only occupants.

The deer-motorcycle collision occurred on Hwy. 95 about 16 miles east of Forest Lake.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 12:30 p.m.
