Suspect Arrested in Rochester Shooting
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – An arrest has been made that’s connected to a recent shooting in Rochester.
RPD Lt. Mike Sadauskis says officers arrested 26-year-old Karshe Adan Thursday afternoon at his residence.
Sadauskis says he is suspected of being one of the men involved in an apparent “drug deal gone bad” in the parking lot of the KFC store on 12th St SE Tuesday evening.
Sadauskis says he is not believed to be the one who fired three shots at the victim as he was getting back into his car. It's believed there were at least three men in the car the shots were fired from.
It’s believed the victim had gone to the store to buy some drugs and was actually in the car the suspects were in when he realized “something was wrong” and began walking back to his car. Sadauskis says he was halfway in the front seat when shots rang out. The victim was hit in the left arm and a bullet also grazed his chest. Police say the victim’s girlfriend and his two young children were also in the car. One bullet missed one of the children by about a foot.
