Super Bowl Storylines: Players + Coaches With Ties To Minnesota And Wisconsin In Super Bowl LV
The stage for Super Bowl LV is now set, and it sadly won't feature any local teams. The Vikings got bounced from the playoff hunt in the regular season, and the Packers saw their Super Bowl dreams trounced by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With both of the local teams out of the running, you might be surprised to find out there are still plenty of players and coaches with ties to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
While I'm sure I missed some ties along the way, the research I did found a total of 14 players/coaches in the big game, with 5 of them involved in the Buccaneers organization, and 9 of them in the Kansas City organization.
Here are the players and coaches with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that have local ties (and no, I'm not counting that loose tie the media used to link Tom Brady to Minnesota when the Super Bowl was in Minneapolis):

Now, on to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs ties to the area are certainly cool, but these ties strike me on a different level. Maybe you'll agree as you dig into them.
