Storm Should Sideswipe SE Minnesota
Southeastern Minnesota is being spared the major winter storm that is expected to pound the central part of the state through tomorrow.
Snowfall totals are expected to be in the 6 - 12 inch range in the Twin Cities with higher amounts in northern areas. Only a few inches may fall in the Rochester area.
Motorists in the storm zone will be dealing with a mess today.
Very cold air will then settle over the state for the remainder of the week with temperatures that will be about 20 degrees below normal.
