STOP Falling For This Crap!

Why do people continue to fall for this crap? Let's just put an end to all of this nonsense now. If you do some simple research, you'll find that there are MANY hoaxes on the internet and ALL OVER Facebook. Let's break them down for you right now and if you have trouble in the future, SNOPES.com is a good place to see if it's real or not. Here we go.

• Nolan Daniels is NOT going to share his lottery millions with you. This is a hoax. He admitted to it in the Huffington Post.
• Bill Gates is NOT going to give you any money. Period. It's not true. A little research will tell you that. 
• Costco is NOT giving away $200 gift cards.
• Neither is Target.
• Neither is Kohl's.
• Neither is Walmart.
• Little Timmy is NOT going to get free heart surgery if his picture gets 100 likes. (To me, this is the dumbest one yet) Like some doctor is going to sit there on Facebook and say, "Well, the pic only received 99 likes. Sorry, Timmy's parents, I can't operate on your boy. Ohhhh, so close!"
• Facebook is NOT going to start charging you. Again, a little research will go a long way. it even says on their sign-up page, for crying out loud!

• Posting a legal notice on your Facebook wall will NOT protect your copyright and privacy rights. If you don't want them using your content, STOP posting it on THEIR site. Delete your Facebook profile.
• Facebook is not closing down Feb. 29th, 30th and 31st...BECAUSE THERE IS NOT FEBRUARY 30TH AND 31ST! Sure, there is a Feb. 29th but that's every 4 years. (We WILL have a 29th of February next year) but Facebook will NOT be shutting down then.

What I'm saying is, do a little research before you go and share something on Facebook. It could save little Timmy's life.
