What the hell is wrong with people nowadays? Everybody's gotta whine about something. Everybody's gotta have a cause or a reason to be upset. It reminds me of Cecil the lion over the Summer. I guarantee you 99% of people never heard of Cecil but all of a sudden, it became a cause they jumped on and displayed their phony outrage. That seems to be the latest trend over the last couple of years. Phony outrage.

The latest "phony outrage" is about the new Starbucks "holiday cups." A guy by the name of Joshua Feuerstein, who is a self-proclaimed evangelist, and internet and social media personality, wrote on his Facebook page that "Starbucks removed Christmas from their cups because they hate Jesus." Check it out below.

Starbucks REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus ... SO I PRANKED THEM ... and they HATE IT!!!! #shareUse #MERRYCHRISTMASSTARBUCKSFollow --> Joshua Feuerstein

Oh, you pranked them real good, Goober. That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Being upset by a coffee cup. A. Coffee. Cup. Of all the things to be upset about in the world today, you choose a cup!?!? Luckily, not everyone is falling for the garbage spewing out of his mouth. Some people with some actual sense, commented on his post:

"this is the first video of his i've seen, i don't think i'm interested in venturing any further haha"

Or

"I used to like Joshua and his video but this is just childish. And it seems that lately everything offends him. If Starbucks is so horrible make your own coffee. Or go somewhere else."

You can check out more comments at your leisure but it seems the majority of people think it's drivel. I've never gone to Starbucks but I'm going to start, thanks to this asshat.

Can we PLEASE, stop being offended at every little thing? Cripes. Stop being a whiner. Stop being a victim. Just stop. Take that energy you're putting into your phony outrage and use it for something good. Work at a soup kitchen. Buy a toy for a less fortunate child. Be a good person. Be thankful.

Merry Christmas, Starbucks. Merry Christmas indeed.
