Sure, Minnesota football fans love their team and show their purple pride but are Vikings fans REALLY some of the rowdiest in the NFL?

We're used to seeing NFL teams ranked, right? There are a TON of statistics involved in the game of professional football, from quarterback ratings, to win-loss records, to the number of touchdowns scored just to name a few.

But how about the FANS of each NFL team? How to THEY rank-- and just which teams' fans are the rowdiest? That was the question the gang over at bookies.com set out to answer earlier this season. According to their 2021 survey, they started by asking fans themselves.

From August 24-September 3, 2021, we surveyed 1,065 self-reporting National Football League fans between the ages of 18 and 75; 56% of respondents were male and 44% were female. The average age of respondents was 37.

So just which teams fans are the rowdiest in the NFL-- and is it fans of the Minnesota Vikings?

Well, no, it's definitely NOT the Vikings. The honor of Rowdiest Fans in the NFL goes to fans of the Philadelphia Eagles. Which makes sense, seeing as they're routinely known for some pretty over-the-top behavior. (Remember when the Eagles won Super Bowl LIV here in Minnesota and one fan was seen stealing a seat from US Bank Stadium?!?)

So where do Vikings fans rank? Well, even though US Bank Stadium CAN get pretty loud when the Purple and Gold are playing and that Gjallarhorn is blowing, the Vikings aren't even in the top ten when it comes to rowdy NFL fans. In fact, Minnesota ranks 29th out of all 32 NFL teams in this new survey, noting that their rowdiest behavior is 'foul language.' (Only the Titans, Colts and Dolphins fans are less rowdy, the survey noted.)

Meanwhile, being the Wisconsin native that I am, fans of my team-- the Green Bay Packers-- are WAY more rowdy, coming in at #8, according to the survey. (Which, again, makes sense, given how much beer Packer fans usually drink while watching the game. The survey backs this up, saying 'drink too much' are Packer fans' rowdiest behavior.)

You can check the list of all 32 NFL teams' fans below. And seeing as 'foul language' is something Vikings fans apparently use (according to this survey), how many of the following naughty-sounding Minnesota names have you heard of? Keep scrolling to find out.
