Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Forecasters are predicting slick conditions will develop on area roadways overnight due to a fast-moving clipper storm system that is moving across Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says the latest forecasting models suggest light snow will develop in the Rochester area between 3 and 5 AM Sunday morning. Some patchy freezing drizzle can also be mixed in with the snow as the weather system races across the region.

Only about an inch of accumulation is forecast in the Rochester area, while forecasters say the Twin Cities could see up to two inches of snow. Heavier amounts are predicted across areas of western Wisconsin, where the snowfall totals could reach four inches.
