Several Minnesotans Killed in Recent Traffic Wrecks
St Cloud, MN (KROC AM News) - There has been a rash of fatal traffic wrecks in Minnesota in the past week.
The most recent happened near St Cloud Tuesday afternoon that involved a motorcycle and three other vehicles.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a car went through the median and collided with an SUV and the motorcycle. A pickup truck was also involved in the wreck. The driver of the car died at the scene. She was identified as 21-year-old Abby Redmond of Sartell. The driver of the motorcycle was also killed. He was identified as 45-year-old David Evans of Sauk Rapids.
Another Minnesota motorcyclist was fatally injured around 1:00 AM Tuesday after hitting a deer near Park Rapids. He was identified as 42-year-old Jason Robert of Park Rapids.
At least ten people have been killed in wrecks in Minnesota since July 22nd. Three were driving motorcycles.
The MN Office of Traffic Safety posted this on its Facebook page Tuesday:
Nine people were killed in separate wrecks July 16th and 17th, including four motorcyclists.
