Scary Close Call for Twin Cities Law Officer

The Crystal Police Department is using a scary video posted on social media to remind motorists to slow down and move over for law enforcement and other emergency vehicles. 

A dashcam video from a squad car in the Twin Cities suburb capture a video of some vehicles and people along the shoulder of a busy freeway following a traffic crash Tuesday The Crystal officer was among the people assisting a motorists who had just lost control and crashed into a barrier before stopping on the shoulder. That's when a truck, apparently unable to slow down, drove on the shoulder past the squad car and nearly struck the officer and the other people at the scene.
