After a year off, a very popular event will return to Des Moines this fall!

Thanks to a new article from the Des Moines Register, we now know that the Des Moines Whiskey Festival is officially ON for 2021! The two-day event will take place November 19th and 20th at The River Center in downtown Des Moines.

For whiskey-lovers here in Iowa, this is the ultimate tasting event. The Whiskey Festival's website says that there will be 150 types of whiskey available for attendees to try! That's a LOT of whiskey. But, there's more to do than just drink.

On Friday, November 19th, the weekend kicks off with the Women N Whiskey Pairing Dinner. The dinner includes a four-course meal prepared by four of the best female chefs in Des Moines, and each dish will be paired with a Cedar Ridge Whiskey. There will also be live entertainment and handcrafted cocktails, with proceeds benefiting Young Women's Resource Center. Tickets for the dinner cost between $92 and $98.

The main part of the festival will take place the next day, Saturday, November 20th. The Eventbrite listing says:

"Saturday is full of food, music, entertainment and more! Enjoy all day activities like axe throwing, cigar trucks, contests, speakers, games, and of course WHISKEY! We will be featuring over 150 types of whiskey for tasting!"

General admission tickets are $38 apiece, but there are also early entry tickets for $55, VIP tickets for $98, and "Secret Speakeasy VIP Tickets" for $138. You also have the option to add on extra tasting tickets when you purchase your tickets.

All tickets for the 2021 Des Moines Whiskey Festival will go on sale Friday, September 10th at 10 a.m. You can read more about the events and get the link to buy your tickets HERE.
