Rochester’s Newest Mexican Restaurant is Officially Open

It was a sad day when the doors of Ground Round suddenly closed back in March. Fortunately, the building wasn't left vacant, and we now have a new restaurant to enjoy. Back in July, we told you that a new Mexican restaurant would be taking over the location. Today, we are happy to report that they are officially open.

If you've ever been to Rancho Loco in Cannon Falls or Red Wing, you know what to look forward to. The brothers that started those successful restaurants are giving Rochester a taste with Los Arcos Kitchen and Cantina. People rave about the Cannon Falls and Red Wing locations online, praising them for their large portions, fair prices, great service, and authentic food.

My friend, Bucky Beeman, was one of the first in line to try the new place. He sent me a picture of the food, and when the online reviews say "large portions," I think what they really mean is heaping, massive, gigantic portions.
