Rochester Woman Scares off Daytime Burglars
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A scary moment Wednesday for a Rochester woman.
Police say the woman - who is in her 60’s - was home sick when she heard the doorbell ring around 10 a.m. A few moments later, she heard the rear patio door window shatter. The woman yelled that she was calling police and she did. The would-be burglars - believed to be two men - fled and could not be located by officers sent to the home. The residence is located in the 1800 block of Spel Lane SW, a few blocks south of Folwell Drive.
Police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the same neighborhood Tuesday night but it’s not known if the two incidents are related.
