Rochester Woman Hurt in Wreck Near Stewartville

Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was taken to St. Marys Hospital Tuesday after crashing her vehicle into a trailer near Stewartville.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the driver of a semi-truck was trying to turn left onto southbound Highway 63 after exiting I-90. He had stopped in the median with his trailer partially blocking the northbound lanes of Highway 63. The State Patrol says 64-year-old Carol Schomburg was northbound on Highway 63 and collided with the trailer. She suffered non-life threatening injuries in the 5:30 PM crash.

The driver of the truck was identified as 60-year-old Walter Brown of Winona.
