Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Court records show a Rochester teenager who was caught speeding in April was clocked at 130 mph.

An Olmsted County deputy caught the speedster as he was driving near Century High School (in the area of East Circle Dr and Century Hills Dr) on April 14th.

The driver - identified as 19-year-old Paulino Arevalo-Castaneda - was driving a Nissan 350Z in a 55 mph zone at the time. According to the citation he was given, Arevalo-Castaneda “admitted he looked at his speedometer and saw he was going 130 mph. “

He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay nearly $600 in fines and fees. He was also placed on probation for one year.
