Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester teenager was arrested early Thursday after police say he threatened a neighbor with a knife.

Officers were called to a residence in the 2900 block of Charles Ct NW around 1:00 AM by a 56-year-old man who said the 16-year-old was pounding on his door. The teen was still there when officers arrived and dropped the knife. He was taken into custody without incident and is facing a felony assault charge.

The man told the officers he had returned home from work and was walking to his residence when the teenager began harassing him and then pulled out the knife. The man went inside his home and called 911.

The man told officers the incident was connected to an ongoing conflict he had with the teenager.
