
Rochester Police Make ‘Significant’ Marijuana Bust
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was busted Thursday while bringing a “significant amount” of marijuana to the city from California.
Rochester Police Capt. John Sherwin says the bust was part of an ongoing investigation involving 44-year-old Jeffrey Lawstuen.

Sherwin says officers pulled over his vehicle in the area of Highway 63 and I-90 around 3:30 AM. The officers found more than 200 pounds of marijuana and a loaded gun in his vehicle. Sherwin says the pot has an estimated street value of more than half a million dollars.

Sherwin says officers were planning to search Lawstuen’s home as part of the investigation.
