Rochester Police Locate Second Attempted Robbery Suspect
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police have located the other teenager involved in Tuesday’s attempted robbery of a local convenience store.
A spokesman says the teenager was interviewed and eventually admitted to his role in the crime.
He and a 15-year-old friend tried robbing the Shell station near St Francis Church. They fled after the clerk refused to give them any money. Police say surveillance video shows the two had been in the store a short while earlier and then came back after covering their faces with bandanas.
The 15-year-old was caught a few hours later and police found he had an airsoft gun with him, the same as seen in the video.
