Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police say an initial investigation did not find anything to suggest foul play was involved in the death of a man whose body was found along South Broadway on Monday.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen says 39-year-old Andre Degeneffe was found about an hour after his father reported him missing around 11 AM after he missed a medical appointment. A passerby spotted the Minneapolis man in the ditch between South Broadway and Commercial Drive Southwest near the Days Inn, where had been staying.

Captain Moilanen says there were no signs of trauma and it appears the death was likely accidental or due to a medical issue. He did note officers were sent to Degeneffe’s room at the Days Inn Sunday evening to deal with a noise complaint but he was not there when the officers arrived.
