Rochester Officers Giving Breathalyzer Tests At Thursdays Downtown
Southeast Minnesota police officers are looking to lower the number of traffic fatalities and severe injuries, and they're starting right here in downtown Rochester. On Thursday, June 13th, the Rochester Police Department is teaming up with Southeast Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths by offering voluntary breathalyzer testing on Peace Plaza at the RPD display during Thursdays Downtown.
It's not a bad idea, because this way you can get the chance to see how even just one drink can affect your blood alcohol level. That in turn can remind you to make good choices about driving under the limit.
But here's the thing: if you and your buddy already have a designated driver for Thursdays Downtown I mean, I'm not exactly saying it would be fun to keep track of your BAC throughout the day while knowing that your ride home is totally covered!
...Drink responsibly, ya'll!
