Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester bus driver was expected to be ticketed for hitting a pedestrian during Tuesday’s snowstorm.

Police Capt. Casey Moilanen says the driver of the First Student bus was making a turn on a green light at the intersection of 1st Ave and 2nd St SW at the same time a man and his service dog were beginning to cross the road. Moilanen says 63-year-old Keith Kramlinger was struck by a mirror on the bus and suffered a head injury.

Moilanen says the 61-year-old man driving the bus was expected to be issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian. There were no passengers on the bus at the time.
