Rochester Man Sent to Prison for Stabbing Teenager
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to almost 4 years in prison for stabbing a teenage girl earlier this year.
30-year-old Anthony King-White earlier entered an Alford plea to a second degree assault charge and violating a protection order while possessing a dangerous weapon. The plea means he does not admit guilt, but acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction.
He was accused of stabbing a 17-year-old girl at a residence in the 2700 block of 56th Street Southwest in the early morning hours of April 15th. The victim suffered two stab wounds that required surgery. King-White was under a court order to stay away from the girl, indicating they had a relationship. At the time of his arrest, police indicated she was not cooperating with the investigation..
