The Rochester Police Department said a 36-year-old man reported he was sitting in his 2004 BMW X3 in the 500 block of 4th Ave SE when a black Tahoe cut in front of him around 8:15 p.m Thursday.

Police said the suspect was the one who sold the victim the vehicle.

The suspect exited the Tahoe with a shotgun, pointed it at the victim, and pulled him out of the vehicle. The victim tried to fight back but was punched by the suspect.

The suspect then told a woman, his wife, to get in the BMW.

The male suspect left in the Tahoe and the woman left in the BMW, traveling north on 4th Ave, then east on 6th Street SE.
