
Rochester Man Arraigned on Rape Charge
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arraigned Tuesday on a 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct charge related to a reported rape last Friday night.
During the court hearing, conditional bail for 36-year-old Marcus Shines was set at $100,000. He was ordered back to court Aug.14th for another hearing.
Police were contacted by the victim Friday night. She said she went to a party with Shines, who she says she met online. The woman says while in a bathroom, Shines came in and raped her. She says he later gave her a ride home. Police located Shines that night and he was arrested.
