Rochester Burglary Suspect Caught After Crashing into a Tree
Rochester,MN (KROC AM News) - An alert Rochester patrol officer was able to catch a burglary suspect Tuesday night.
The officer was sent to the scene of an accident in the 300 block of 4th St SE, not far from the Law Enforcement Center around 7 p.m. The officer found a car had crashed into a tree - and then noticed the vehicle matched the description of one spotted earlier in the day in the 2700 block of 56th ST NW, the scene of a residential burglary. Witnesses were also able to get a partial license plate number and a description of the suspect.
The description was similar to the man who crashed into the tree and the partial license plate number was also a match. 22 year old Joshua Plantin was arrested and is expected to face charges.
