Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester City Council could reach consensus Monday on the future of the Armory building.

Two proposals are under consideration.

One is called Castle Community, which would operate as a public/private project and include public space, a restaurant and bookstore.

The other comes from the group that runs the Fine Line in Minneapolis. It proposes renovating the building to bring back its original look and offering live entertainment and other events.

The council will discuss the proposals during its committee meeting Monday afternoon and, if it reaches consensus on one of them, a formal vote could come next month.
