Resourceful Dad Creates Ingenious ‘Poor People Roller Coaster’
When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.
A father from Pennsylvania deserves a real round of applause for his clever VR roller coaster.
Victor Peoro of Hellertown, Pa. wanted to take his two-year-old daughter to Disney World, but couldn't swing it because it cost too much, so he did what you will now come to realize is the next best thing: he created a homemade roller coaster for her.
Peoro put the girl in a laundry basket and then turned on a DVD of a roller coaster to simulate the experience. It looks like it was one hack heck of a ride and perhaps it was so much fun that Disney will have to lower prices to offset the hit it's going to take because of people who jump on the "poor people roller coaster."
The makeshift ride may really pay off, too. A GoFundMe page that has been set up to send the family to Disney World has already exceeded its $3,000 goal.
