Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester received its first rain of the month early Thursday as two lines of showers and thundershowers moved across southeast Minnesota.

It wasn’t much, with only 4-hundredths of an inch recorded at St Marys Hospital.

But the city’s official weather station near the airport did not report any rain. That means as far as official numbers are concerned, the city’s month-long drought continues. But it may end Thursday afternoon as there is a 50/50 chance of rain - along with the threat of severe weather.
