St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - It has to be pretty darn cold for this to happen.

The U.S. Postal Service announced late Tuesday afternoon that it was suspending operations on Wednesday in Minnesota, Iowa, western Wisconsin and western Illinois due to the extreme cold.

A statement says, due to "Polar Vortex Jayden," there will be no delivery service and no collection mail pick up from businesses or collection boxes. Additionally, there will be no residential or commercial package pick-up services. The postal service says retail operations at local offices will be available but may be limited.
