Police Explain How to Spot a Credit Card Skimmer [VIDEO]

New and creative scams pop up each and every day. So while one of these credit card skimmer devices are nothing new, it's important to learn how to spot and deal with one once it's discovered.

We've all been in a spot one time or another where we needed extra cash in a pinch and were maybe caught someplace out of our comfort zone and needed to withdraw money from an ATM at a gas station or a club.

We all want to keep our debit card information private and secure, so how on earth do you identify one of these skimmers to keep all that info away from thieves?

It's really simple, actually. Police say to just tug on the machine.
