Petition to Get Weird Al as Super Bowl Halftime Show Entertainer

There's a petition in the works to get Weird Al Yankovic to be the Super Bowl Halftime Show entertainment and it's gaining steam. It started out as a joke from a drunken football fan, Ed Ball, who was sick of "artists" like The Black Eyed Peas & Nicki Minaj playing the half time shows.

"I do not want to sit through another Black Eyed Peas disaster or see Nicki Minaj verbal vomit some lyrics that I cannot understand. And do you want Miley Cyrus?!? Because this is how you will end up with Miley Cyrus!!!"

In less than a day, the petition topped more than 40,000 signatures and at last count, there were over 72,000 signatures.
