Packer-Viking Weekend. Let’s Do This!

♪ ♫ It's the most wonderful time of the year! ♪ ♫ Packer/Viking Sunday! It doesn't get any better than this. I've done my fair share of trash talking this week with some Viking fans. Again, as I said before, it was all in good fun.  But now, it's coming down to game time.

If the Packers lose, I'm ready to take a beating. But I have confidence in my team. Since 2006, the Packers are 14-4-1 against the Vikings (including 6-3 in Minnesota) and in those 19 games, the Packers have scored at least 21 points in all but one of them and the Vikings have scored fewer than 21 points ten times. But I gotta admit, the Vikes are looking pretty good. They're a different team and admittedly, the Packers are not playing their best football right now.

I think the Packers are coming into this one with a chip on their shoulder. Of course they don't want to lose their fourth game in a row and I hope they actually PLAY like they don't want to lose their fourth in a row. If anything, I hope it's at least close. The most exciting games, regardless of who's playing, are the games that come down to the wire. Maybe a last second field goal or a game winning drive that ends in a TD.
