Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Oronoco woman who was confronted by her ex-boyfriend at Oxbow Park says he swerved his vehicle at her car after she left, apparently trying to force her off the road.

The woman told Olmsted County deputies she met 28-year-old Michael Pommerening at the park Tuesday afternoon to exchange property. The woman said they got into an argument and he became “extremely upset” and made a comment about how “she was going to die.”

The woman says Pommerening followed her after she drove away and that he was only a foot from the rear of her car. She said Pommerening continued to follow her when she turned onto County Rd 4.

After driving about 2 miles, the woman said Pommerening pulled alongside and swerved at her and she became frightened. The woman's adult daughter was with her.  The woman turned onto a side road and was able to drive home.

Pommerening was located at his home in Waseca a few hours later and arrested.
