One Person Killed in Crash Near Mankato
Good Thunder, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is assisting with the investigation into a deadly traffic crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon near Mankato.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office says one of the drivers was fatally injured in the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of two rural roads about 5 miles south of Mankato and just southeast of the town of Good Thunder. A news release indicates first responders attempted lifesaving measures but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff's Office says there was one adult and three children in the second vehicle involved in the crash. All four of them were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The names of the victim and the others involved in the incident have not been released. The crash, which was reported around 4:15 PM, remains under investigation.
