One Of America’s Best Sandwich Shops Just Opened Up In The Twin Cities
Guys, drop EVERYTHING. When I first heard about this news, I literally grinned and pumped my fist in the air.
Back in my college days, I’d often fly down to Las Vegas to visit some friends who went to UNLV. One time, my buddy Christian told me that there was one local sandwich shop I had to try. This place was apparently voted as the Best Sandwich In Vegas, so I was obviously down. When all was said and done, I ended up going back to this place three more times during my trip. These sandwiches are that good.
This place is called Capriotti’s, which has sandwich shops throughout the West Coast and Southwest. But now, I’m very pleased to let you know that they just opened up a shop an hour north in Edina. I’ve been to their locations in Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix; each time it’s been a heavenly experience.
My absolute favorite is The Bobbie, which is basically a Thanksgiving leftovers sub sandwich (turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo) that is completely worth the heartburn. But really, you can’t go wrong here. These are big sub sandwiches that are packed with ingredients, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. Whenever someone tells me that they’re going to Vegas, I’ll rave like a lunatic about how they need to try Capriotti’s.
So this is me, a Crazy Sandwich Person, telling you that the next time you’re in the Twin Cities, you totally gotta check this place out. It honestly might even be worth the drive. And then bring me back a Bobbie and a Cole Turkey, please.
