No Parking in Downtown Rochester Overnight Sunday-Monday
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Downtown Rochester will be a no-parking zone overnight.
The Rochester Public Works Department says motorists will need to remove their vehicles from streets throughout the downtown area and along sections of 2nd Street Southwest near St. Marys Hospital to allow city crews to remove the snow from Friday’s storm. A notice issued Sunday says vehicles left parked on posted streets and avenues between Midnight and 8 AM will be ticketed and towed.
The National Weather reported that 4 to 5 inches of snow fell in the downtown area Friday and Friday night, while the official total measured at the Rochester Airport set a new record for January 18 at 8.1-inches.
