Next On My Wishlist…Oculus Rift [VIDEO]

I've been into gaming since I was a young lad in the 80's. We played games like "Missle Command" and "Tanks" on the Atari 2600 and "Contra" and of course Mario Brothers on Nintendo but now I MUST try the Oculus Rift.   I've had many game systems. You name it, we've had it in our house. Nintendo, PS1, 2 and 3, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn and now I currently have an XBOX One. I've loved playing video games for years. I'm especially a big fan of the Madden series. We've had them all and couldn't wait till the new one came out every year. I was also a big fan of the Tomb Raider series, Resident Evil, The Last of Us, etc. but after watching the video below, the Oculus Rift is the next thing on my list and I'm not even quite sure what the hell it is but it looks amazing.

According to Wikipedia and the companies website, Oculus Rift is:

"The Rift is an upcoming virtual reality head-mounted display, being developed by Oculus VR."

 

Obviously, by that definition, it's hard to really pinpoint what it is, so watch the video below to see how it works and if you happen to have a few hundred extra dollars when they're available, hook a brother up!
