I listen to a LOT of different music. I'll admit, I like stuff from the 50's all the way up to today. Everything from Buddy Holly to Godsmack. Country to SOME Top 40 and of course, rock. There's only one format I don't particularly care for and that's rap. It's just not my thing. When it comes to rock music from the last decade or so, I've got a few favorites. Here is MY Top 10 rock songs of the 2000's.

    Godsmack - I Stand Alone

This is one of those tunes I'd crank up in the studio anytime it came on. Sully puts a lot of power into his vocals and their live show is amazing.

    Black Label Society - Stillborn

From BLS's "Blessed Hellride"  A great album from an EXTREMELY talented guitarist, signer/songwriter. If you're not a fan of Zakk Wylde and/or BLS, what the hell is wrong with you?

    In This Moment - Blood

Not only is Maria Brink hot but damn, she can sing.

  • 4

Devour The Day - Good Man

I first saw these guys at Rock Fest. They put on a great show and I dig the vocals on this track.

  • 5

Foxy Shazam - I Like It

Apparently, Foxy Shazam (Love the name) decided to disband a while ago. At least they left us this tune.

  • 6

Pop Evil - Last Man Standing

We've had Pop Evil in the studio and they put on a great acoustic show for a few listeners. Great live band. One of my favorites...hence the LIVE video.

  • 7

Black Stone Cherry - White Trash Millionaire

This is a good tune. Got a chance to meet them at Rock Fest a few years back. Really down to earth and another great band to see live.

  • 8

    Rev Theory - Hell Yeah

Rev Theory was the opener for our first ever show at the Mayo Civic Center back in 2008 with Puddle of Mudd headlining and support from both Rev Theory and Saving Abel. A great show.

  • 9

    Seether - Gasoline

Seether was among our first shows in 2008 at the Civic Center as a headliner and they returned again as support for Bush. Great live show.

Sixx A.M. - Life Is Beautiful

I have to imagine it's pretty hard to go from one of the biggest bands in the world to starting an entirely new band with a different style and sound but I think Nikki Sixx did pretty well. One of my bands on my bucket list to see live.
