More Than 20 Years in Prison For Minnesota Child Pornographer
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Minnesota man has been sentenced to more than 21 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.
40-year-old Nathan Dobbelmann earlier admitted to one count of production and attempted production of child porn. The Minneapolis man was accused of using social media apps to contact children and solicit them to send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves.
It was also alleged that Dobbelmann sent the children sexually explicit videos of himself along with sexually graphic text messages. The criminal complaint also indicates he joined online chat rooms and platforms to "discuss and trade child pornography files" with others.
The charges were the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI in the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
