It's an ending that many didn't want. A missing Minneapolis woman, Jessica Marshik, who hadn't been seen since mid-December has been "presumed deceased" according to a post to a page dedicated to finding her. The post indicates that recent evidence found gave police enough to presume Jessica would not be found alive.

The post to the page states:

January 29th, 2022
We want to thank everyone for their support and help with trying to bring Jessica home. We regret to inform everyone that Jessica’s family received definitive evidence from police that Jessica should, unfortunately, be presumed no longer with us.
At this time we cannot share any information about Jessica’s presumed death, out of respect for her family’s request for privacy.
We are deeply heartbroken and truly devastated that we will not be seeing Jessica come home alive, and will never again be able to hug and hold our friend, whom we really miss and love. We are deeply saddened by this horrible news.
We are grieving the loss of Jessica and we will continue to support her family. We realize folks will have questions about what happened, as we have questions as well. Please trust that we will share information when appropriate out of respect for Jessica’s privacy, and her family’s privacy.
Again, thank you for your valuable support in bringing awareness to Jessica’s missing person’s case. Your help and support is greatly appreciated during this very difficult time.

It's currently unclear as to what evidence was discovered to indicate to police that Jessica was no longer alive.
