Are We Gonna Win, Twins?

It can be argued that the Minnesota Twins' 2024 road to winning the pennant and postseason success depends on a healthy shortstop Carlos Correa and Center Fielder Byron Buxton performing at the top of their game this year. CBS Sports says,

...the Twins are at their best when these two are the dynamic all-around players they've been much of their careers. They're both premium defenders at up the middle positions when healthy, and they can hit. At their best, Buxton and Correa are legitimate stars.

Twins Opening Day Injuries

The Twins started the 2024 opening day with a win, but it also included a key player injury. Royce Lewis limped off the field and was replaced with a pinch runner and is expected to be out until June 1st with a "severe" quad issue.

Pitcher Anthony DeSclafani is out for the season with flexor tendon surgery scheduled on his right elbow.
