We're in the dog days of summer, and sometimes Minnesotans wish they could just take it all off and air it all out. Did you know, Minnesota has 3 nudist campgrounds in our state where clothing is optional (or prohibited)?

You can pitch your tent, pack a lunch and enjoy a long weekend camping while you feel all of the freedom that nature has to offer without offending your next door neighbor. So, where are these nudist campgrounds? I'm so glad you asked.

  • The closest nudist campground is located in Cushing. It's called Freedom Valley Campground and it's about a 50 minute drive from the Granite City. Guests must be 21 years or older. According to their website, "our wish is to provide our guests and residents with an environment in which they feel the freedom to express themselves." There's a nude beach, swimming pond, sauna, entertainment stage and more.
  • The second nudist campground is in East Bethel. It's about an hour away from the Granite City. It's called the Avatan Nudist Club and they've been around the longest. They've got a campground you can check out and a variety of other activities you can enjoy. Clothes in this club are prohibited. Yep, if you wanna hangout at the pool, you need to be totally in the nude. This club is family friendly.
  • Two Creeks Campground is the third nudist campground in the state. It's located in Sandstone, which is about an hour and a half from the St. Cloud metro. It's a couples and singles adults only retreat. You can rent a cabin, bring your own RV or put up a tent.

Feel like being a nude dude? Hopefully, this helped you out.
