Might Have to Rename Mega Millions to Mega Billions

Undated (KROC AM News) - Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing could very well have a billion dollar jackpot.

The multi-state lottery game has announced the grand prize has ballooned to $970-million, an increase of $70-million from 24 hours ago.

It will likely increase even more before the Friday night drawing due to heated ticket sales. The current grand prize has a cash value of nearly $550-million, before taxes.

Meanwhile, the Powerball lottery jackpot has rolled again after going unclaimed Wednesday night. It will be worth at least $430-million for the Saturday drawing.
